"Romance in the Air"

Admission: $5.00, free parking
Comments: Featured will be quilts ranging from traditional bed quilts to modern wall quilts highlighting longarm quilting. Also featured in this year's quilts show will be a display of challenge blocks made by our association members. Each block is made from the same pattern, fabric and color and will represent the quilting styles of each individual quilter. Tickets will be available for a beautiful raffle quilt "Romance Rhapsody". Vendors representing quilt shops in the surrounding area will be there and show goers can browse and purchase fabrics, books, and other quilting related supplies. Box lunches will be available for purchase from the church. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the quilt show.

Our 2008 show was so successful at the Convention Center we now have the entire ball room! The 2010 show coincides with the City of New Bern's 300th Anniversary celebration. In addition to many great vendors, a spectacular raffle quilt, over 200 displayed quilts, the popular Guild Boutique, and live demonstrations we will feature a display of historic quilts from the last 300 years.
